Exciting News

No, I don’t have a niece or nephew yet. This news isn’t that exciting. But it is still pretty spectacular. As of next Monday I am the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture’s newest employee!

Peace Offering

Tomorrow I start with Delaware Nature Society so I will once again have farm-related things to share! While these new stories won’t involve adorable piglets, veggies are exciting in their own right. And who couldn’t use a few more veggies in their life?

I owe those of you who are still  following my adventure a life update. I will try not to ramble.

I Hate Endings

Well, that’s it. My year at Wyebrook is over. I’m no good with “goodbyes” and am thankful I’m close enough that I really didn’t have to say it. I’ll be back next week to help catch cows and to help with the farmers’ market. So I’ll get to drag this goodbye out for a few more weeks.

What I’ll Miss

Tomorrow is my last day. I’ve already promised Ryan I’ll come back one day next week to help sort cows. It’s been too snowy to sort and move the 50 that are going to Bruce’s farm. Hopefully we’ll have some clear (read “snow-free”) days next week. I also plan to continue helping with the farmers’ market, at least until I get my long-term plans situated.
